     Welcome to Oakes Bay Ranch.  We are a family run horse business located just outside of Drayton Valley, AB, Canada.

       Oakes Bay Ranch is the home of three amazing stallions sired by three of the worlds top producing NCHA sires - Dual Pep, Peptoboonsmal, and Playgun!

     We take great pride in our carefully selected band of mares.  Our bloodlines include such greats as High Brow Cat, Metallic Cat, Peptoboonsmal, Smart Little Lena, Peppy San Badger, Doc O'Lena, Third Cutting, Spots Hot, Freckles Playboy, High Brow Hickory, Lenas Dualin, BFR Boon Zan, Buen Pistolero plus many more.

     Our passion lies in breeding great horses with good conformation, great minds, eye appeal and athleticism.  We compete in cutting, team penning and sorting but we also enjoy rodeo, gymkhana, and trail riding.....Life at it's finest!
